Please note that this is only open to regular Friars Hill Stables riding school clients and is pre-entry only.

 

Suitable for riders who are level 3 and above. I.e. walking and trotting off lead rein in lessons.

 

Pole to Pole is a course of jumps, however the jump parts will be poles on the floor and perhaps a couple of slightly raised off the floor towards the end of the course.  This is to get our riders used to riding a course. The cost is £7.00 per round and a maximum of 3 rounds per rider/pony combination is allowed. 

PLEASE NOTE: MAX. 3 X ROUNDS PER RIDER ACROSS THE WHOLE AFTERNOON (inc Pole2Pole, Nervous and Novice) FOR ALL RIDERS!!!

You need to add only 1 x pony hire fee (if applicable) at time of booking.

Please note: if your child needs leading around the course, then you will need to pay £1.00 in cash for each round to a leader who will be a member of our Friars Hill Stables staff, no parents will be allowed to lead.

To start at 1pm and finish at 2pm approximately.

However, IMPORTANT - Riders must be here by 12pm to groom and tack up their allocated pony and ready to start on time.  Riders must also be prepared to brush their pony off after use, rug them up and put them to bed.  Participants are expected to stay until the end and assist with putting away the jumps and assist with yard duties, as required.  If anyone doesn't do this, then they will be banned from future competitions.
